Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Industrial Economics. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline (or be close to completion). The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and teaching in the relevant areas of economics, contributing to programmes offered by the School at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD levels. They should demonstrate potential to publish in internationally excellent peer-reviewed journals in a relevant area to economics.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills, ability to supervise Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD students, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

Please note that as part of its commitment to maintaining the highest academic standards in teaching and learning, the University expects all newly appointed or promoted Assistant Professors (unless exempt) to complete 30 credits of the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) Course.
