The University of Buckingham is unique. A vacancy has arisen for the Director of the Vinson Centre for Economics and Entrepreneurship. The person appointed will also become Professor of Economics. This is an externally-funded, part-time position.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in economics and/or cognate disciplines (e.g., finance, political economy and entrepreneurship). The post also requires a person who has experience of working both with internal university stakeholders, as well as with external stakeholders, including local economic partners, others academic institutions and donors. The University has close ties with the International Institute of Monetary Research and the Institute of Economic Affairs.
