Energy Aspects is currently seeking an Econometrician to join our growing research team based in our London office, covering both long-term and short-term analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Analyst with a passion for both energy and research, with a strong background in economic modelling combined with excellent Excel skills and a critical thinking approach to analysis.
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining the models that underpin both our long- and short-term research services. They will design, create, test and refine econometric models to forecast supply, demand and prices in global energy markets under different conditions.
The models will use data from multiple sources and of differing quality levels. The analyst will produce a detailed methodology document that explains the approach taken to clients and contribute to periodic reports highlighting key changes to our assumptions. These documents will need to communicate complex information to an audience with varying levels of technical expertise.
