- The CMA’s ongoing programme of ex post studies into past competition policy interventions
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Assistant Director of Econometrics to determine the key areas for investigation and the quantitative analysis required to assess them
- Planning and managing the delivery of quantitative analysis on projects or workstreams
- Ensuring that quantitative analysis is delivered to a high standard
- Contributing to the management and intellectual development of the team of professional Economists
To be considered for this position, you will require:
- A post-graduate degree, ideally, or at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree in economics with a focus on quantitative analysis

- Experience of the design, development, management and timely delivery of quantitative analysis to tight deadlines
- Proven ability to communicate and present technical and complex economic analysis to non-technical audiences, both orally and in writing
The CMA prides itself on being a great place to work and strives to ensure that staff can grow and develop their skills. As well as being in a hugely rewarding, diverse and stimulating environment, you will have an opportunity to work for the public good whilst stretching and developing yourself in doing so.
