We have three graduate programmes in the specialist areas of Economics, Data and Policy.

Our dynamic and truly versatile 2 year programme will enable you to use the tools and knowledge developed in your degree to help us solve problems in the water industry.

Rotating across different areas of work (clusters), you will be able to develop a broad skillset, important to many roles in the world of regulation and across society.

Our Graduate Programme gives you opportunities to enhance your presentation, analytical, stakeholder management and project management skills, by providing excellent structured on-the-job training and relevant learning that will give you a deeper understanding of the regulatory environment and the water sector, as well as the economics, data or policy and strategy skills you will need to succeed. You will thrive on the challenges and variety that these programmes provide.

We are also offering roles which include working in one area of work (cluster) you be provided the same learning and development and support across all programmes.

Each action-packed placement is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and core competencies that you’ll need to form a solid foundation to your career in regulation and beyond.

Our Graduate Development Programme provides you with a range of learning and development opportunities and support, including Ofwat Essentials a learning programme delivered by dedicated in house experts.

The graduate development programme is developed and supported by Senior Leads, and you will have opportunity to lead and support exciting internal and external and projects – this is an opportunity to make a real difference from the outset.

To support you during the programme you will have an allocated People leader (Line Manager) and Buddy, Mentor, and Programme Manager. As well as on the job learning you have access to specific technical training, to meet your specific learning needs which can be tailored to help you fulfil your potential.

You will be provided with all the tools and support to help you flourish in your profession and will be supported by central events such as conferences, and site visits to water companies’ operational sites, so that you can develop your understanding of the water industry.

You will be working with other graduates and colleagues and working with early career professionals across the regulatory industry to support your development and enhance the skills you have developed during your studies. This is an exciting time to join our programme.
