To enhance our Clinical Research and Services Team in Vienna we are looking for a

Health Economist – Market Access Management (m/f)


In our daily scientific business health economics & market access supports all activities to ensure to achieve, maintain and / or potentially expand covered access of patients to high-tech medical devices and / or services in an increasingly challenging environment. Within this context, the purpose of this role is to be closely partnering in a cross-functional structure to deliver strong substantiated value based health care. (Jn 104610)

Your tasks

  • To develop and implement market access strategies and health technology assessment initiatives for our products
  • To develop market access plans in close cooperation with local sales subsidiaries
  • To develop and support appropriate argumentations with reimbursers, medical doctors, therapists and industry experts
  • To establish a centrally supported market access network
  • To develop global value prepositions and health economic analysis

Your Qualifications

  • Professional experience as a Health Economic/Market Access Manager, preferably in the medical device industry or experience in a health economics research institute for at least 3 – 5 years
  • Successful completed Medicine or Life Science degree
  • Experience with all relevant scientific methods, including evaluation and modeling
  • In depth knowledge about the interpretation and use of clinical and health economical evidence for HTA processes across Europe and US
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, hands-on-mentality
  • Ability to conduct successfully projects in a cross-functional environment with excellent soft skills; team player
