The University of Leicester is seeking to appoint an outstanding academic as a Professor in Economics with first class academic leadership and management skills and an excellent track record in research. You will have an international research reputation and be expected to provide leadership in the area of Economics: developing research collaborations, attracting grant funding, attending and organising conferences and seminars, enhancing impact activity and the research profile of the School, commensurate with your level of seniority.

The successful candidate will join a department that has an international profile for its research across the broad areas of economics, with particular strengths in theoretical and applied microeconomics as well as macroeconomics and finance.
