Our European Competition Practice provides expert economic advice on competition policy, economic and financial regulation, public policy and the assessment of damages in complex disputes. We are looking to hire economists to help us to provide advice to our clients on some of the most high-profile cases before the European Commission, the General Court and national competition authorities, regulators and courts.

We are currently seeking talented Research Analysts, Analysts and Senior Analysts to join our competition practice.
Our Research Analysts, Analysts and Senior Analysts become an integral part of the team from day one, with the crucial role of helping clients understand how competition works in their industry. You will work across industries on a range of cases including mergers, abuse of dominance, cartels, and damages. You will work closely with senior experts to understand the client’s issues, relate those issues to relevant economic theory, and support the analysis with robust empirical evidence.
We are looking for highly analytical candidates, with a strong background in microeconomics or other quantitative subjects and a good understanding of data. You will have excellent organisational skills and an ability to multitask, as well as strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Depending on your qualifications, you will join as a Research Analyst, Analyst or Senior Analyst:
Research Analyst positions are available to those with an undergraduate degree in economics or in another quantitative subject. These are one- or two-year fixed-term positions, ideal for candidates who are interested in post-graduate studies in economics but would like to gain work experience and a better understanding of economic consulting before returning to university.
Analyst positions are available to those who have recently completed their Master’s degree in economics.
Senior Analyst positions are available to those with a Master’s degree in economics and a few years of experience in competition economics, either in the private or public sector.
Please note that fluency in German is a requirement for the Berlin and Düsseldorf offices, fluency in Finnish or in another Nordic language is a requirement for the Helsinki office and fluency in French is a requirement for the Paris office.
