The Transfer Pricing Senior Economist will work within the Tax & Accounting transfer pricing group in London responsible for preparing transfer pricing documentation studies using ONESOURCE Transfer Pricing compliance software on an outsourcing basis for clients. Additionally, the Senior Economist will be required to provide software related advanced economic support to clients, and will be required to be trained on the whole transfer pricing products suite.

ONESOURCE (formerly Abacus) is designed to provide tax software solutions for multinational corporations and Accounting professionals. ONESOURCE solutions cover a broad range of taxes including Direct Tax Compliance and reporting, Indirect Tax determination and Compliance, Tax Planning and Workflow Management.   • Work with managers to prepare transfer pricing documentation and planning studies;
  • Based on transfer pricing regulations in each taxing jurisdiction around the world, the Senior Economist will conduct economic analyses to benchmark our clients' intercompany pricing;
  • Involve in all aspects of transfer pricing engagements including scoping, fact gathering, economic analysis, implementation and training & support;
  • Delegate and review work prepared by junior staff.
  • Interact with high-level tax executives of Fortune 1000 (or the foreign equivalent). This includes answering clients' technical and/or software questions and requesting data necessary to prepare transfer pricing studies.
  • Proficiency in establishing client relationships and effectively managing existing relationships to build customer confidence.

  • Internal – Senior manager and other managers in the team; GGO India, GGO US, GGO Singapore, GGO Russia and GGO South Africa.
  • External - Clients

Essential Skills

  • Must have transfer pricing experience with all specified transfer pricing methods;
  • Practical knowledge and prior application of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines required. Knowledge of specific countries’ international transfer pricing regulations preferred;
  • Excellent business writing skills;
  • Excellent time-management skills.

Desired Skills

  • Have experience of transfer pricing project management experience;
  • Have experience in interacting (written and oral) directly with clients on transfer pricing projects.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Law or Accounting;
