The Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager to join their Policy Team.
This role is an integral leadership role within the PSR policy team, working with the Head of Department and five other Managers. The role will provide thought leadership across a range of policy areas, projects, and competition or enforcement cases within the PSR. You will help develop and drive forward policy issues, including developing regulatory proposals for consideration by senior leaders and Board. The role is also responsible for the effective implementation of policy decisions and regulatory activity. The role will include management responsibility for the wider policy team and line management of Senior Associates and Associates.

The PSR is an independent economic regulator led by Managing Director, Chris Hemsley. Everything we do is guided by our statutory objectives: to promote competition and innovation and the interests of people and businesses that use payment systems. We are directly accountable to Parliament and the Courts and funded by the payments industry. We work closely with other regulators involved in this sector, notably the Financial Conduct Authority, the Bank of England and the Competition and Markets Authority. Operationally we are an independent subsidiary of the Financial Conduct Authority.
