Department of Social Policy and Intervention

Grade 8: £39,992 – £47,772 p.a.

The Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School are seeking to appoint a Senior Research Officer to work on the effects of economic inequality and prosperity as part of the Oxford Martin Programme on Inequality and Prosperity: Promoting Inclusive Growth.

You will have a PhD in economics, social policy, sociology or another relevant social science discipline, with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and statistical/econometric methods. You will have substantial research experience in a relevant area, along with a significant track record of excellent publications in highly-ranked peer-reviewed academic journals.

This is a full-time post, for a fixed-term of 3 years, starting on 1 July 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
