Within the telecoms practice we advise regulators and companies across some of the most interesting, topical and high-profile policy, regulatory, competition and strategic issues of the day. In doing so, we help them navigate change driven by underlying advances in technology, market structure, government objectives and consumer behaviour.  Our advice is built on economic theory and a deep understanding of telecommunications. We help our clients to analyse and understand their markets (competition and litigation cases, strategy, policy design or regulatory) and to formulate strategies or policies based on sound economics and innovative thinking. The methods and models we use are often complex, but our advice to clients is always succinct, clear and honest.

In the last ten years, we have undertaken nearly 500 projects in the sector, across more than 50 countries, from The Bahamas to Belgium, Spain to Singapore, and United Kingdom to United Arab Emirates.

We are looking for an economist for our telecoms practice with experience in deploying rigorous economic thinking. The successful candidate would have around 2-4 years of regulatory experience and preferably strong modelling skills. This will have been gained at a consultancy, regulator or competition authority, or even at a regulated company. You will have at least a degree and preferably also a post-graduate qualifications in Economics, along with first class analytical skills, an ability to think strategically about issues and excellent communication skills. You will also work well in teams in order to deliver high quality output on time to our clients. We offer a competitive salary with bonus and benefits.
