We are seeking an Economic and Energy Policy Specialist as an expert on current and future economic and energy policies and their impact on the Company.

The core function of the Domestic Analysis Department is to advise the Company’s management and external stakeholders on the outlook for domestic energy demand, economic evaluations of the Kingdom’s energy and economic policies, domestic fuel and feed stock pricing, the Kingdom’s macroeconomic outlook, and international energy policies and regulations. In addition to assisting in domestic energy strategy and policy formulation. The Kingdom’s Economic and Energy Analysis, therefore, serves as the center of expertise on a wide variety of strategic issues that are of great impact to shaping the domestic energy landscape, while ensuring sustainable economic development.

The Saudi Aramco Domestic Analysis Department helps evaluate various aspects of the Company’s short- and long-term domestic and regional energy challenges, in addition to short- and long-term domestic energy market supply and demand projections. The outcomes of these analyses are used to forecast the domestic oil, gas, and refined product demand for Saudi Arabia. As the sole provider of oil and gas to the Kingdom, this demand outlook is important for the Company to develop its long-term plans to meet this demand outlook.

It is expected that the specialist be able to examine the domestic and regional economic policies and regulations, to identify key challenges and trends that will impact the Kingdom’s economy. As an expert in economic and energy policy, the candidate is expected to formulate the best approach to addressing these challenges. This work can include compiling statistics, reading reports, having discussions with stakeholders, analysing policy implications, and synthesizing the information into meaningful documents.
