Economic Perspectives is an established international consultancy offering realistic, independent and often controversial insights on global macroeconomic and financial issues, substantiated by careful empirical observation.  Our offices are based in Luton, Bedfordshire, which is on the main-line rail service from St Pancras International.

We are now seeking to recruit an intern for the summer holiday period to work in our research team.  This would ideally suit an economics or business student or graduate who is interested in gaining experience in the field of applied macroeconomics.

The role involves regular updates of key economic and financial datasets which form the basis of our analysis, written and oral presentations. In addition, there are occasional research projects which require the creation of new datasets forming the basis of empirical analysis and evaluation of research ideas.

The successful candidate will be part-way through an economics/business degree or have already graduated.  They will be diligent, clear thinking, have a responsive mindset and be able to run tasks in parallel.
