Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis of economic, monetary and financial developments in the global and Hong Kong economy. Duties include econometric / quantitative analysis, regular analysis and monitoring of economic indicators, and construction and maintenance of economic and financial databases
Requirements:
- University degree, preferably postgraduate degree, in economics, econometrics, statistics, quantitative science or related field
- Experience in economic research, statistical analysis, and database management preferred
- Familiarity with economic and financial statistics, and the use of economic databases (e.g. CEIC and Bloomberg) an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office and econometric software such as EViews, MATLAB and Stata. Programming skills in languages such as Python and R highly desirable
- Good command of English and Chinese
