- Socio-economic and cost benefit analysis for the Land Development Agency (LDA), focusing on the redevelopment of brownfield sites contained within the LDA’s portfolio. The purpose of the project is to explore whether the projects are economically viable, provide a return on investment for the LDA and result in socio-economic benefits for future residents as well as the existing communities surrounding these locations.
- Economics advisory services for the National Transport Authority of Ireland, including developing the business case for BusConnects and updating the Taxi Cost Index.
- Research and evaluation advice for the Transport Infrastructure Ireland including the development of aspects of their Project Appraisal Guidelines, measuring the benefits of walking and cycling infrastructure, evaluation of major projects, preparation of business cases and ad hoc advice on issues such as mainstreaming sustainability into transport schemes.
- Input output modelling to assess the economic impact on a range of projects. These projects focus on analysing the economic impact various developments would have in an area, with the results categorised as economic outputs, jobs created, and gross value added to the local economy.
- Labour market analysis and studies on future skills needs for the Zero Carbon Economy, for the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs.
