The Methods and Analysis management unit is responsible for surveys in the areas of financial market data, balance sheet and credit data, and prudential data. As a business analyst, you will prepare statistical surveys and be responsible for their content management.
Your contribution:
- Determining and consolidating the SNB’s data requirements regarding commercial banks’ balance sheet data;
- Designing solution concepts, taking into account the implications for the institutions required to provide information as well as the technical implementation;
- Coordination of implementation work between the departments involved and IT;
- Developing the foundations for quality assurance;
- Advice and support for internal and external data users and institutes required to provide information on technical issues
Your knowledge and experience:
- University degree (Master or Doctorate) in economics;
- Broad macro- and microeconomic knowledge, experience in accounting is an advantage;
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a precise way of working;
- Experience in collecting statistical data, flair for quantitative analysis and working with data;
- Work experience in interdisciplinary projects;
- Editorial skills, strong communication skills, very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English and French.
