Person specification
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive individual to be part of our busy team at the centre of Government. Demonstrable experience in the conduct of cost-benefit, economic impact and/or value-for-money analyses; and a good working knowledge of economic reporting, modelling and forecasting methods are essential.
Other essential criteria include:
- A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Public Policy or in another subject where evidence of equivalent advanced-level courses in economics and/or policy analysis can be found.
- Grade C role: Minimum of 5 years’ relevant post qualification experience in a public sector, not-for-profit, research organisation or private sector entity with public policy and/or economic analysis responsibility.
- Grade B role: Minimum of 7 years’ relevant post qualification experience in a public sector, not-for-profit, research organisation or private sector entity with public policy and/or economic analysis responsibility.
