The postholder will work as part of the team to deliver an effective service to support the deputy director, they will provide strategic development and day to day management of the policy development functions. This will enable the team to operate effectively and deliver their priorities.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize them across the team.
Keep patient interest at the centre of all activities and involve patients and public in policy development where appropriate.
Keep up to date with policy developments across health and care and be mindful of the impact of policy development on other stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
