RSK Group, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Economist on a full-time permanent basis to join our Technology and Skills Team, which deliver strategic studies and evaluations for UK government departments and agencies, including DSIT and UKRI. This is a unique opportunity to shape policy and investment decisions that influence the UK’s innovation landscape, digital economy, and future workforce.
RSK is investing significantly in Policy and Programme Evaluation. As a result, we are seeking talented and experienced professionals to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Economist, you will lead on the design and management of evaluations and contribute to evidence-based policy development. You will work closely with government clients, internal teams and partners to deliver rigorous and insightful research and develop actionable recommendations. You will be encouraged to develop expertise into a strategic area of interest.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of economic studies and evaluations related to technology, innovation, and skills.
- Develop economic models and frameworks to assess programme impacts and value for Money.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and primary and secondary data collection
- Communicate findings through high-quality reports and presentations.
- Contribute to team development and thought leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience in applied economic analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
- Proven ability to manage complex tasks and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with UK government evaluation standards
- Experience working with or for DSIT, UKRI, local authorities, or similar public sector bodies.
- Experience winning work
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, Python).
