We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity to join our Policy Team, in one of two Senior Policy Lead roles.
HMLR's position in the property market, as a non-ministerial Department within Government, and as part of the Critical National Infrastructure means that we have touchpoints across a wide range of high-profile policy themes as a delivery organisation and Arm’s Length Body. In this role you will influence and contribute to the development and delivery of outcomes across a range of ambitious and exciting policies crucial to the successful delivery of the Government’s Growth Mission.
Job description
This role will put you at the centre of HMLR’s policy function, where you will have the opportunity to actively enhance the reputation and influence of HMLR, working closely with Governance Team, Parliamentary Hub and Communications and External Affairs, and using your excellent communication and influencing skills to build and maintain a positive profile of the organisation with partners. You will represent the interests of HMLR and our customers taking customer insight and stakeholder sentiment into consideration as part of your policy thinking to maximise the positive impact HMLR has on industry and partners across the public sector.
We welcome applications from people who wish to gain high-level experience across a broad range of policy profession specialisms and gain experience working in a large delivery organisation. The role will suit those who enjoy variety and working across multi-disciplinary teams, are comfortable working on challenging and time bound work packages and are resilient and able to adapt to peaks and troughs in demand.
HMLR believes that a blended approach to where you work (with some time working from home, as well as in the office) has clear business benefits and may improve your experience. Therefore, we expect everyone to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office.
