Cardiff, Glasgow, London

Application Deadline
Britain’s energy system is changing rapidly, and ensuring gas remains secure, affordable and resilient has never been more important. Ofgem is looking for a Senior Policy Manager to help shape how gas supply is maintained today, while supporting the transition to Net Zero in the years ahead.

Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers, especially vulnerable people.

We’re offering a full-time, permanent opportunity to work in a highly topical and nationally significant area of work where there is real impact for consumers. Operating at the centre of one of Ofgem’s most high-profile policy challenges, you’ll contribute to work that spans security of supply, wholesale markets and system operation, helping inform decisions that affect households, businesses and communities across Great Britain.

You’ll have the chance to influence thinking on complex, fast-moving issues where evidence, judgment and long-term perspective are critical. You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment where your contribution will help shape credible pathways that support both consumer protection and system resilience.
